PotterCast 113: : Rupert Grint Interview Transcript
Opening (0:00 - 3:10)
Melissa Anelli (MA): Welcome guys, to the first of many post-Deathly Hallows PotterCasts. Just a warning, if you haven't finished reading Deathly Hallows, you should probably stop this podcast. It will be full of spoilers. Finally home from our whirlwind summer, it is the real PotterCast 113.
Sue Upton (SU): Woo!
MA: Woo!
John Noe (JN): Wee!
MA: Welcome, welcome! It's PotterCast. We're back to our regularly scheduled PotterCasts, recording from three separate rooms again.
SU: Aw.
JN: Aw. About darn time!
MA: About time, I know.
JN: I like recording in my underwear. (MA and SU laugh)
SU: Thanks for sharing, John. (MA: Thanks, John.) We don't.
JN: You are welcome.
MA: In this week's show, we are heading slowly and painfully, and trying to remember how we do this, after how many months of driving around, live shows, and what-not. This week we have a very special interview with Rupert Grint, (SU: Yay!) (SU applauds) but it's from our friends at RupertGrint.net.
JN: Yes. Thank you, Claire!
MA: Yes.
SU: Yay! Yay Claire!
MA: For not only allowing us to be in on the interview but to give us this wonderful recording to use. We're very excited.
SU: You rock.
JN: Yes. She's awesome. You can- by now some of you have probably watched part one of the interview on RupertGrint.net in video format, and you'll be able to see the rest of the video in a few days or so, but here is the whole interview in its entirety of the audio coming up, coming on the show.
MA: Awesome. And then we're gonna be back to discuss the movie. A lot of you guys have been asking us for a straight out (SU: Mm-hm.) discussion of what we thought of the movie, and I'm actually really excited to do this, because I think we're going to try and get some expert commentary here in a few weeks. So for now, to get our opinions out there and talk about it in a more full way (SU: Mm-hm.) that hasn't been possible while we've been on the road.
JN: Totally. I think I've seen it like five times! Haven't you guys?
MA: I've seen it about five times now, have you guys?
SU: Yeah.
JN: We just saw it again in IMAX. We saw it twice in IMAX, right?
SU: I loved it in IMAX.
JN: Wow.
MA: Yeah, it's crazy.
JN: Oh, my God.
MA: All right. Well, we are still friends with our lovely people at Borders, and they've been very patient with us this summer, so why don't we give them a little word?
