I liked the trailer all in all. Looks like they went totally overboard with the lake scene, and I don't quite see why all the memory vials have to have stickers with "Tom Riddle" on them (they weren't his memories, after all, even if about him), but I can appreciate the great detail.

Any news on the Philadelphia or NJ PotterCast locations?

Aubrey: I just think WB did a poor job at advertising the film. They should have shown the main characters rather than lots of young voldemort.
If I had seen this trailer WITHOUT reading the books I would have drawn the conclusion that the movie would have started in Dumbledore's office, they dive into the memories of Voldemort, which is what the whole movie circulates around(him growing up), and at the end of the movie they get out of the pensieve and Harry asks that question to Dumbledore that we hear at the end of the trailer.

To Ian- The trailer is supposed to be a teaser, and yes, even though we didn't see Hermione, Snape, and barely any HP, I'm sure they'll deliver for the full length trailer. I liked that the teaser focused on the Pensieve and the memories Dumbledore and Harry see, given, that is a pretty big plotline of the series ;-)

But what a trailer - definitely greatly different to other trailers and the focus on Volde shows that the format and tone of this book is entirely different.

Artemsia, I think it's just wishful thinking. It's not her. Though, one day, it'd be nice if she made a cameo appearance, but I dont think that's her style.

I would like to know whether I am delusional or whether anyone else is hearing Jo's voice in that voice over from the orphanage? Will she make a cameo appearance as the keeper? I daresay she'd enjoy that role - also, it's the bit she read in NYC, doing the voice, maybe that gave her and/or the movie people the idea ... ?
I find the high-res stills in which the keeper is in the background, while not conclusive, at least do not definitely disconfirm the notion ...
Thoughts, anyone?
