Jessica, I have actually visited Wellington on a tour of New Zealand I took about six months ago! I think I (might) have visited the place with hot chocolate you mentioned! It was fabulous, anyway. I'm dying to remember the name of the place, but I'm forgetting. Anyway...Yeah...New Zealand it beautiful - if the podcasters go there, I will vacation there at the same time to see a live show ;)

I also hope that there will be a live show where I live one day. Wellington, New Zealand if anyone wants to know.

On the subject of haggis, I personally have never tried it but it's very much part of the history and cuisine of my hometown Dunedin, where many Scots settled upon arriving in New Zealand. The annual Robbie Burns dinner down there still continues, with a haggis as always upon the menu.

If you guys tour round Australia and NZ one year, I could take you out to some wonderful restaurants and coffee places in downtown Wellywood. I'd have to take John out to a really great Mexican place, The Flying Burrito Brothers.
Melissa, there are heaps of great cafes in Wellington, so many I can't remember them all. But one does the richest hot chocolate in the entire city, I drink a bowl twice a week cause I love it so much. There are a few very good Italian resturants in town too.
Sue and Frak, I could take you to an Irish pub dear to my heart, Molly Malones. They have great food there.
Those are just some of my reccomendations if you ever decide to come down here to do a tour.

THANK YOU for coming to Michigan at long last!
My schedule is tentative but I am hoping for a cancellation! (quite likely)

I can probably make it to both Detroit & will there be a meet up in Ann Arbor?

Ah, LeakyCon...how I'd love to go to that. I've never made it to a fan conference, I'm sad to say. I always have the little issue of transportation to most of these things. Oh well. ;) Maybe someday, right?

THE FANDOM WILL NEVER DIE!!!!

Griffie, it's a pity you won't get to a live show. Neither will I, obviously, but I did get to the London show with Melissa and John in March o7. That was really good, but I think us Brits were a bit more subdued than you Americans, so it was a bit different. As Melissa said once, when they asked us a question we'd all put our hands up instead of screaming- not much use on a podcast LOL!!! I'd like to go to a live one in the US... maybe at LeakyCon...

Yeah, I agree Neil. It's like any other generalization/stereotype. It's like on the Bourdain show the host even said Scotland is sometimes famous for the wrong reasons -- including thinking all the food is bad.

But anyway, regarding the tour -- I'm very upset I won't be able to make any of the shows, especially since they are coming to the East Coast, where I live. I guess I'll just have to live with the fact I'll never get to see one. ;)

Oh, FRAK -- I need to tell you, if you read this. I tried Pellegrino for the first time while listening to this episode, and it was interesting. It tasted a little more subtle in flavor to other carbonated waters, but it was pretty similar. However, I was very shocked and disturbed that when I spilled a cup all over myself (and my keyboard), that it took the sharpie (PERMANENT MARKER) off of my keyboard!

I am now stuck with the thought of what this stuff must do to the body if it cleans off PERMANENT markers! :P

Yaay this was an awesome show! Loved the guess a chapter, what interesting guests you had there ;)

I really want more Melissa book spoilers! It's awesome and really gets me excited for the book! XD No pressure ofc Melissa, we know you wouldn't release it until you were happy with it! :)

And aww sometimes I hate the fact that I don't live in the US. I never get to go to conventions or live shows... I managed to get to the live MuggleCast in London for the book 7 release but I was like, on another floor where they just had screens where we could see the podcasters on. I probably would have minded more if it wasn't for the book being released only hours later! ;) But I really want to see you guys so these live things always make me a bit melancholy - buuut I'm looking forward to listening later! :) And I hope you guys have an AWESOME time, and that Frak enjoys his first (of hopefully many) PC tour!

My dad knows a place in EDinburgh where you can get haggis on top of a pizza, so would you try that Melissa?
Oh and haggis is amazing, but black puddings gross =P
