Oh, I so hope I can go to your Philadelphia or New Jersey show. My husband loves Harry Potter too, but he thinks my Leaky/Pottercast thing is a bit odd, so I don't know how he would feel about going to a live Pottercast, and with a three-month-old I probably wouldn't come without him.
When you said you needed to places to stay I had this insane thought of stuffing all of you into my living room and dining room, but as spacious as my two-bedroom apartment is, I don't think it would work! Plus, like I said, three-month-old baby...
Anyway, I hope I can come, and I'm off to go listen to the most recent Pottercast while the baby is still napping!

Wizard Schools in North America - couldn't help but think of the policy which would definitly be put into place:
"No Wizard left behind"
"No Wizard left behind"

Nadia, I don't want to start some sort of comments argument; but I was contesting the fact that your original comment stated that they wouldn't do a show in Windsor because they've already done one in Toronto. What I said about geography was referring to the fact such a blanket comment would be like saying that they shouldn't do any two(in a row) of the shows they're planning for this summer, as many of them are closer together or about the same distance than T.O and Windsor.

How about a post-terminus podcast in Milwaukee? It's only about 1 1/2 hours away. Come on, pretty please! I could probably host the 7 of you, I don't know about 12.

there was a guy that posted tour dates a few pages ago, but i'm not sure how credible they are. i'm crossing my fingers that the dates are wrong because i won't be able to make the detroit show!! arghh!!

Oh Kris wrote the original comment about Canadian fans(not Windsor fans,) not Liz. Regardless my point stands.

Liz ORLY. Yes I know that Windsor and Detroit are pretty close to each other. However you weren't complaining about actual distance, but the existance of the border, which is why I brought up Toronto because it's in Canada and not Detroit which is close to Windsor. I know geography, I was just responding to your particular complaint. If that wasn;t your problem than maybe you should have written it more clearly.
But seriously, there's no need to be rude.

While it is not the norm, there are many boarding schools in the US. It would not be too far out of the norm to send students to Wizarding schools, even for elementary aged children. I think it would be four of them though. East coast, west coast, midwest, and south.....

Nadia, you don't seem to know your geography very well. Toronto and Windsor are 5+ hours apart, whereas the Can/US border is actually IN Windsor/Detroit. Besides, you had to be registered for the Toronto Conference to go to the Podcast
