Just letting you guys know - I always skip through scribby 5 too - Great Concept - Too unnatural and predictable.

Umm...I don't mean to sound rude, I'm sure that the girls of the Scribby 5 segment are very nice, but it sucks.

Lol, I'm about (lots) of weeks behind on my PotterCasts (blah, internship).. and I just listened to the "Every Week for Ten Years" PotterCast #150 (congrats on 150!)...
I am from the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians in Harbor Srings/Petoskey Michigan, and we call ourselves "aniishnaabe" (pronounced: ah-nish-nah-bay). That means "original people." :) Each tribe calls themselves something different, I'm sure, since we all have different languages, traditions, and creation stories.

Ian: Thank you for your response! I figured out (after like 20 shows but shhh :P) that the lines were from the book, but I assumed the password was actually for something... and maybe it is, but it's uber secret. ;)
As for Scribby 5, I'm glad I'm not alone in my opinion - I really hope Erin and Nina etc. don't take offense, it's nothing personal against them, just the fact that it's scripted and a bit pointless, cause we'll read Scribbulus if we want to, but I don't feel like reading an essay after I've already heard what it's about you know? I find it a bit odd that the PCers aren't listening to the criticism, this is after all a show by fans for fans, but oh well, it's not gonna make or break the show! PotterCast is too awesome. :) And we're all entitled to have opinions about it, as long as it's constructive feedback/criticism.
Also, ComicCon: I know you guys (podcasters) are Lost fans, so try to meet up with Jay&Jack, who are also going to be there! A joint video/audio clip would give me a total squeezure! :D

Hey M, J, S, F: Elvendork smiles not withstanding, were you honestly and truly not the teensiest bit disappointed in the 800 new words of canon? Nothing really new, just another silly James and Sirius prank with keystone cops muggles. From the depths of my HP withdrawal, I was so hoping for a "fix" of something juicy, which would have added to the story or the characterization. In short, I confess myself disappointed...

I just love Pottercast. On days when my mood resembles a spider-frequented broom cupboard, you manage a cheering charm on me that would merit highest marks from Professor Flitwick. Thanks you guys!
P.S. "Nagini in a bubble" = a zillion LOLs.

Selina: The twiddling dials/password comes from the "Potterwatch" radio in DH.
As for Scribby 5, there's been a rebellion against it for quite some time. We BEGGED for them to drop the script like a month ago, they didn't, and we just stopped listening. Theres NO POINT in listening to a scripted convo. As I mentioned a month ago, we all love PC because of the funny unscripted nature of it! Its so funny and out of nowhere. Scribby 5 is VERY stiff and scripted, espescially When they reply "YESSSS, (insert name here)." Gets on all the PC listeners nerves...
