Hey guys, WELL DONE on the Webby award! The speech was done in true LEaky and of course Potterhead style, and if they didn't get it, then they need to start reading! This recap made me grin, it sounds like an extremely boofy night, and I'm glad John, being the little boofy that he is, could make a joke about Prince's guitar. :D

Both of you looked great! Very exciting!! I'm so glad you stuck with that speech. It IS Harry Potter.
You all deserve this and so much more. Leaky has brought us entertainment (Mr. Blood), hope (Get a Clue & Katrina), and a community where we can all share and enjoy each other's company. You all are the best and I thank you for your hard work and enthusiasm!

I am so proud of you all! Congratulations! No one deserves it more than the wonderful Leaky folks.
But. Are there really no full length pictures of Melissa in her gorgeous dress?? Thats what i was looking forward too...and a shot of the shoes would be fabulous too. :) I mean, Prince is great and everything, but I know what pictures really matter. Let us know if there are any more coming.

For all of the hard work and many hours that I know you, John, and so many others put into this site, you deserve every award and every reward you can get!
It's funny to think about Leaky being one of the "little guys," because in the world of Harry Potter, it's hard to get bigger. Thus, in my mind, you all always have been up there in prominence. What do I do in the morning? Check gmail, check livejournal, check facebook, read the NY Times, and check Leaky. I'm glad the rest of the world is catching on!
Also, I don't think you could have had a better acceptance speech. You made it a speech about and for the Harry Potter community, which not only makes it fun for us, but also embodies the spirit of Leaky.

WAY TO GO MELISSA and JOHN. we love potter and don't care who knows!!! I am glad you had fun and was able to get the potter word out. and about having donea service announcement for JO... there is always next year.
