Lol, I'm about (lots) of weeks behind on my PotterCasts (blah, internship).. and I just listened to the "Every Week for Ten Years" PotterCast #150 (congrats on 150!)...

I am from the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians in Harbor Srings/Petoskey Michigan, and we call ourselves "aniishnaabe" (pronounced: ah-nish-nah-bay). That means "original people." :) Each tribe calls themselves something different, I'm sure, since we all have different languages, traditions, and creation stories.

Really cool image Mollycoddle88!

I think Mdm Pomfry is a Ravenclaw. She's so fierse about rules, quite stickt, and not very Hufflepuff-like when it comes to bed side visits etc.

Elder and Unicorn hair (possibly phoenix feather), 12 1/2 inches :)

When I first read the description in Book 7 of Dumbledore's mother I thought, "She sounds like she's 'dark Welsh'!" That's what many of my Welsh ancestors looked like - American Indians. Some Welsh supposedly share ancestors with the Basque people the Pyrenees.

olive, 11", kelpie hair

I'm surprised that Madam Pomfrey was not even considered for Gryffindor! As a real life nurse I consider my work both noble and heroic, and I consider myself a Gryffindor.
